Transportation/Line Non-Commissioned OfficerResponsibilities Include: Ensuring the 100% accountability of all rolling stock and gear at all times. Identifying any and all maintenance issues and getting them resolved before vehicles are dispatched. Ensuring that all weekly/monthly Preventative Maintenance is done on all vehicles according to Marine Corps Orders and Procedures. Identify vehicles to be dispatched for particular transportation needs, also ensuring the safety of all cargo and personnel is adhered to per local, state and base regulations. Creating manifests for all convoys and transportation to include route planning and emergency planning.

Responsibilities Include: ordering of Stock List items, maintaining and keeping accountability of (i.e. wrenches, tool bags, tires, etc.), for the induction of any and all rolling stock, (i.e. trucks, trailers, etc.) that need either preventative or corrective maintenance through the Oracle based system GCSS-MC. Through this system I was able to also reconcile all parts received and all rolling stock returned. Cost analysis was a daily activity utilizing this system, ensuring that the amount needed to be spent was cost effective and kept within a budget, having to mitigate which vendors to use and ensuring payments were appropriately made.

UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS – ASSAULT AMPHIBEAN SCHOOL BATTALION, HEADQUARTERS AND SUPPORT COMPANYMotor Transportation Corporal March 2008 – October 2012

Quality Checks and Control Non-Commissioned OfficerResponsibilities Include: ensure the continuity of all vehicles in our Motor Pool to include that all fluids were topped off, tires were inflated to the appropriate PSI and were clean.

Corporal of the GuardResponsibilities Include: ensure the safety and security of the area at all times through the day and night, to do so I was to have two roving posts walking throughout the area that would be switched out by myself every four hours. Each post was given an M16 Rifle with live security rounds, OC Spray and a baton.

Area Barracks ManagerResponsibilities Include: supervise Barracks Managers to ensure that all barracks were continuously being beautified and maintained, to ensure that discrepancies were documented and sent to Facilities Maintenance Department for appropriate actions and ensuring the cost of work was appropriate for each discrepancy, and detailed monthly reports were given to Base Billeting. **Received two Letters Of Appreciation during my duration as the Area Barracks Manager.

UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS – 2ND BATTALION 11TH MARINES, ECHO BATTERYMotor Transportation Operator April 2005 – March 2008

Served two deployments:1st: Ramadi, Iraq (September 2005-April 2006) acted as convoy security for the safe transfer of gear being transported and delivered to and from different bases in Iraq in support of both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

2nd: Okinawa, Japan (January 2007-January 2008) attached to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. During this deployment we traveled to Guam, South Korea, Philippine’s and Australia to train with each country’s military.
