    What is one piece of advice to the future ELI students?

    I am arriving early, I guess 8 a.m. I am with my roommate, Loreno, he is from Italy and I

    am from !hile, our other roommate is "a#eshi from Japan. $esterday, Loreno arrived late, he had a

    long %ourney &efore to arrive in our apartment. "oday is 'onday, in we are in the !entral (atio after 

    wal# in the different directions in this &ig ocean with trees called )!*+. ow, in the (atio there are

    so many many nationalities and faces, clothes with different colors and accents from all over the

    world. -t the first glance most of them are from !hina, &ut with the days I realie that I am sharing

    with people from different world neigh&orhoods/0 1rail, !hina, Japan, *audi -ra&ia, 2ussia,

     orway, 3ermany, rance, *pain, (araguay and !hile, my country.

    "hen, we did a long line to sing in, receive the main instructions. -fter 56 minutes of arrive

    and no more than 48 hours in the ).*. I was in a classroom with twenty new classmates, we have to

    do our first test, all together, in our new e7perience, &ut I was convinced that it will &e an

    opportunity to en%oy. Even today, I do not remem&er well after almost four wee#s how I met people

    from different languages who lives in differents countries and have so diverse cultures, it was easier 

    than I thought. We are sharing and &eginning our English *teps/ without fear to ma#e mista#es.

    -ll of us are in the same situation, every&ody have had, at the &eginning, the same purpose0

    improve our English s#ills. "o do this )!*+ gave us more than that, &ecause we have improved

    and we have made new friends, we met new people and, furthermore, we have committed the same

    challenge0 stay far away of our homes and do the &est we can do.

    'ay&e, at the &eginning I felt confusion a&out papers, how to fill out forms, where are my

    classrooms, who are my teachers and classmates, however when the days had &een passed I realied

    that nothing is difficult, there are people who is tryng to help you in class, with your homewor#s

    and specially at the &uilding E.
