    The Chief Justice said: “I have the honor to announce, on behalf of the Court, that the Octo-

    ber 2016 Term of the Supreme Court of the United States is now closed, and the October 2017 Term is now convened.”

    “Today’s orders of the Court have been duly entered and certified, and filed with the Clerk.”

    “The Court now recognizes the Deputy Solicitor General Jeffrey Wall.”

    “The Court at this time wishes to note for the record that Jeffrey Wall has served as Acting Solicitor General from March 10, 2017, to September 19, 2017.
