Year 12 into Year 13
If you are worried about moving from year 13, please talk to your tutor, Miss
Campbell, Ms Acayo or Mrs Wren.
The principle is that we want to be sure that you will be
successful in year 13.
We look at: attendance and attitude, VIMA results and teacher predictions.
We take into account any particular circumstances that may have affected
you this year.
If your attendance is good and all your VIMA IV grades are D or Distinction
and above – you will just automatically move into year 13.
If you don’t meet this then we will be having a meeting and seeing how we
can support you to get to this standard in the summer term and VIMA V.
Students who do not meet this by VIMA V will not be moving into year 13 in
the consortium. We will help you as much as we can to find a route to
success.
Mr Smith Meetings
After the holiday Mr Smith meets all year 13
students in small groups. These exit interviews
are important. Mr Smith wants to have a chance
to talk to you about all your time at JRCS and
wish you well for your final few weeks, the
exams and your future.
Don’t miss your time.
Tell Mrs Yeaman if you need to rearrange your
appointment.
