All children are gifted and creative. So, it's important to identify
their hidden talent and foster them to excel in their chosen
creative fields. While academics make children learned and
prepare them to build their future, creativity gives self-identity and
personal satisfaction. We have made 'nurturing creativity' an
important aspect in our school programme and have provided
extensive facilities and envisaged wide-ranging activities to
identity and nurture the creativity of our students.
Fostering Creativity
?Bharathnatyam training by a trained classical dancer for the
girl students (and interested boys) of all classes
?Karate coaching for boys as well as girls. Conducted by a
competent trainer in an exclusive large hall.
?Vocal music for students of classes I – X by a classical music
teacher hailing from a family of renowned musicians
?Band training for students by a competent instructor. Selected
students take part in the Republic and Independence Day
Parades organized by the Government of Karnataka.
?Newspaper in Education (NIE) Programme by The Hindu and
Deccan Herald
?Children Movement For Civic Awareness (CMCA)

?Participation in competitive exams like ASSET, Olympiad,
General Knowledge, etc. is compulsory for all students
We believe all children are gifted. They justneed a little help to discover their talents.

Engaging in sports is really important for children to improve their
physical fitness and mental agility. In addition to making children
recognize the value of health and fitness, sports activities help
them in the development of their overall personality and keep
them away from vices. Regular involvement in sports will make
way for healthy eating, ample exercise and good health. It also
promotes teamwork and discipline. Having recognized the
immense value of sports in the growth of our students, we have
created a full-fledged infrastructure for outdoor sports on two
acres of land. The school has given equal importance to indoor
sports such as table tennis, karate, etc. and employed
specialised coaches for all the sports with a view to provide
appropriate and professional training. Cricket, basket ball and
hockey training are conducted for students of classes of III-X by
professional coaches. Sports meet is organized regularly to
promote competitive spirit among the students.

Yoga
The school believes that education for students
should prepare them to meet the future challenges in
all walks of life. This is essential nowadays due to the
ever increasing stress and competition among
students. So, we have yoga classes for all students to
soothe their mind and relax their muscles. The classes
are taken by a trained yoga teacher in a separate hall
large enough to accommodate more than 50 students
at a time. Yoga helps students to improve their
concentration and keeps them active and mentally
alert all the time.

Every child must go through its normal phase of growth and
learning. We have created wonderful facilities for nursery school
children to learn co-ordination and control of their movements,
walk around obstacles and ride tricycles. There are play
equipment that allow preschool children to climb up and down,
jump, skip and hop. There is also a separate park with slides,
swings, see saws, etc.
The play homes are large, spacious and well-ventilated. The
focus is on observation and activity based learning and teachers
Enriching kindergarten studentsencourage children to use hands for building, working with dough
and clay, using pencils and paintbrushes, cutting with scissors,
exploring the tactile qualities of sand and water, fastening buttons
and zips, making jigsaws, etc.
Our three Montessori labs provide ample resources for children
to learn through senses, by feeling different textures and learning
the words to describe them.

Innovative Co-Curricular Activities
The school imbibes the philosophy that each child is unique and
has his/her own potential and talent in a variety of fields like
debate, elocution, essay writing, singing, dancing, painting, art
and craft, etc. With a view to nurture the talent of students, the
school periodically conducts competitions such as essay writing,
spell star, extempore speech, recitation, elocution, poster
making, floral arrangement, doha, vachana, shloka, recitation,
sudoku, drama, dance, debate, quiz, designing T shirt, cooking
without fire, salad decoration, etc. for each class. All sections of
each class compete with each other to ensure maximum
participation. This ensures that each child gets an opportunity to
grow as an individual and explore his/her full potential.
Every child needs a level playing fieldto compete and build self-confidence
