The McDonough County Farm Bureau invit-ed local officials and leaders this Spring to “RideAlong” with a local producer in an effort tobring about a better understanding of agricul-ture. We really love taking local leaders to thecountry and showing them what it means to cul-tivate the land. Agriculture is such a strong partof our county and it’s important for leaders tounderstand where their food comes from. We’reproud to say that farmers not only in our countyby all over the country produce the safest, abun-dant and still the most affordable food in theworld,” commented Sarah Grant, Manager ofthe McDonough County Farm Bureau.
