Fr. Chris’ Corner Dear friends in the Lord, As we continue through our current phase here at St. Teresa of Avila, I just want to recap. I thought last weekend went very well having more people in the church and I look forward to seeing more and more of you return. The office has reopened and has resumed normal operating hours. Our max capacity in the church has increased to 90 people.
Weekend Masses are by reservation only (as instructed by the diocese) and can be made through an online platform called “Save-A-Seat”; a link is provided online through our website, social media, and weekly email. If you do not have access to the internet, feel free to call the office.
Weekend Masses for July will be Saturdays at 4:00 PM and Sundays at 9:30 AM. Weekday Masses have returned to their regular times: Monday/Wednesday at
5:15 PM; Tuesday/Thursday at 8:00 AM; Friday at 12:30 PM. All liturgies will continue to be livestreamed on the main Facebook page for St.
Teresa of Avila (@sttvalpo). For those attending Mass please remember to: Enter through the south Laporte doors of the church Arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in Wear a face mask upon entry and throughout Mass Immediately sanitize hands Maintain physical distancing in church and parking lot Please note that in order to maintain a safe environment the doors will be locked as soon as Mass begins. As a basic rule, no one should attend Mass who is; Running a fever, sneezing and
coughing, feeling ill Reconciliation has resumed Wednesdays at 6:00 PM and Saturdays 2:30- 3:30 PM. Appointments can always be made by contacting me in the office. Faithfully yours in the Lord, Fr. Chris

Stewardship Report
Tithing As individuals we are called to be good and generous stewards with God’s manifold gifts. Tithing is the means whereby we have the opportunity to give thanks to God; with that in mind, the community of St. Teresa of Avila tithes $450 weekly. This week our tithing will be donated to our Job’s Pence Fund. Our Job’s Pence Fund was established to offer one-time assistance to our community members that are in need of financial assistance. If you or someone you know from the St. Teresa of Avila community is in need, please contact Fr. Chris, Christine Harsh or Kris Conrad.

Thank you, St Teresa’s! 35 bags were delivered this
past Thursday including LOTS of Spam!
After 12 weeks, we have delivered 548 bags.
As their needs continue to
change, there are some updates to the list:
Pasta Sauce, Tuna, hearty soup,
Spam, Jelly, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and
Deodorant Seeing people lined up all the
way down the block at the food pantry is proof that your
generosity and love is making a difference!
