Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is looking for public input on values, needs and priorities as part of its 15 & Forward initiative to plan for the next 10 years. There will be nine listening sessions around the state starting Monday, July 20 through Wednesday, August 12. The Region 6 meeting will be held at the Fort Peck Fish Hatchery on Wednesday, July 22nd at 6:00 p.m. FWPs vision update will be a foundation on which it builds programs and services that hold the most value for the public and Montanas fish, wildlife, recreation, cultural, and state park resources in the years ahead. It has been over 20 years since FWP last took a department-wide look at planning for the future and established its current Vision for the 21st

Century, said FWP Director, Jeff Hagener. It is time to update this document and set program goals and design services that reflect our current context. Hagener stressed that public input is critical to the process. FWP would like to understand if we are meeting your needs, what we can do to serve you better and get your thoughts on where we need to put our focus in the upcoming years.

A whirlwind... that is the word that keeps swirling through my thoughts and heart these days. From Zambia to Malawi to Zambia to South Africa to Swaziland to Zambia to Switzerland, it seems that since May I just cant stay still.

Looking back to Swaziland In the last few weeks I have had the privilege of spending time with some if the most fantastic children in the planet. You can only imagine the wonder experienced in our moments together......the joyful laughter of young ones as they jump and stomp on my laundry in a bucket in fervent effort to get it clean :)...Startled faces on little children as the white girl tries to put a 20 liter container of water on her head and it falls off...almost crashing to the ground...a chorus of childrens voices from small to big raised in praise to God ...protecting wide-eyed small ones from oncoming cattle on a dirt path ...preschoolers running through tall grass to reach the finish line (me), making it barely possible to stay on my feet ...the joyfully grateful face of a mkhulu (grandpa) as we wash clothes, mend fences and eat together with his children and grandchildren...hugs, laughter, smiles, and more hugs and smiles every morning, afternoon and evening as I hear Aunty Shirley while walking through the farm meeting children with open arms and hearts at every turn

Makes a person wonder at the possibility of coming and joining in what God is doing here, doesnt it...just let me know and well arrange a visit :)

Just now in Zambia This week we have a team of 4 people from the states visiting in Kabwe. Two are from OM USA and two from the department of Education at Biola University, we are praying through and exploring possibilities for partnerships with the Teacher Training Centre and Biola in the future. I look forward to seeing what God has planned and will keep you all updated in the future.

Looking ahead to Switzerland... On Friday morning I begin my travels to Switzerland where I will be hiking on the Haute Trek on behalf of vulnerable and marginalized women and children in Africa. I look forward to sharing with you all that God has done once I return. If you would like to join us in the journey, you can follow us at: Freedom Climb Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/freedomclimbIf you would like to send a gift that will go toward providing teacher training for marginalized women so we can reach vulnerable children through education and the gospel, you can go to this link: http://fundraise.omusa.org/site/TR/Climb/General?px=1007563&pg=personal&fr_id=1110 If you would like to pray along with us on our hike, please email me ([email protected]). I would love to have 2 people a day committed to praying for me, those hiking with me, and the women and children we are hiking for. We will be hiking July 18-26. Thanks so much for journeying with me in so many ways! Serving with joy, Shirley Ann Turner

One day a man goes to a pet shop to buy a parrot. The assistant takes the man to the parrot section and asks the man to choose one. The man asks, How much is the yellow one? The assistant says, $2,000. The man is shocked and asks the assistant why its so expensive. The assistant explains, This parrot is a special one. He knows typewriting and can type really fast. What about the green one? the man asks. The assistant says, He costs $5,000 because he knows typewriting and can answer incoming telephone calls and takes notes. What about the red one? the man asks. The assistant says, That ones $10,000. The man says, What does HE do? The assistant says, I have no idea, but the other two call him Boss.

    Friday Funnies by Sugar

A woman went on vacation, leaving her husband behind. Before she left, she told him to take extra special care of her cat. As soon as she arrived there, she called her husband and asked if the cat was all right. Her husband said, The cat just died. She burst into tears and said, How could you be so blunt? Why couldnt you have broken the news gradually?! Today, you could have said that it was playing on the roof; tomorrow, you could have said that it fell off and had broken its leg; then on third day, you could have said that the poor thing had passed away in the night. You could have been more sensitive about the whole thing! Im sorry, dear, the husband said, Ill try to be more sensitive in the future. By the way, hows mother doing? the wife asked. Shes just fine. Right now shes playing on the roof.

A slightly drunk woman is watching TV and yells, Dont go in there! Dont go into the church, you dumb broad! Her husband, reading the newspaper, looks up and asks, What are you watching? She says, Our wedding video.
