    RAPSody is known for its good food and scenery

    New for 2008, the ride willtake you on the wide pathacross the new Tacoma Nar-rows Bridge (no ferries to waitfor), pass through Gig Harbor,Pt Orchard, Olympia and Stei-lacoom, giving you scenic wa-

    ter and mountain views. Enjoythe quiet, scenic backroads offive Washington countieswhile supporting statewide bi-

    cycle advocacy and educationthrough our friends at the Bi-cycle Alliance. RAPSodystarts and ends at the TacomaCommunity College and thehalf-way and overnight sop isShelton. The route is 160

    miles of rolling hills, with somechallenging sections. There isalso a one-day option to ridethe entire course on Saturday.

    Your registration includes apair of souvenir socks, lug-gage transport, camping,showers, mechanical and sagsupport, great food stops andthe best volunteers. Plus,there will be live music in

    Shelton on Saturday and icecream at the finish line. Allproceeds are donated to theBicycle Alliance.

    SBC's rest stop will benext to a golf courseat Van's Burgers, 7725Yelm Hwy SE, Yelm. It's asuperb site with picnic ta-bles on a grassyarea, and plenty of shadetrees. Pedal Dynamicswill be providing me-chanical support on Sun-day.Volunteers are stillneeded...contact Bob at
