Mathematical sciences is a group of areas of study that includes, in addition to mathematics, those academic disciplines that are primarily mathematical in nature but may not be universally considered as proper subfields of mathematics. Statistics, physics, computer science, computational science, population genetics, operations research, cryptology, econometrics, theoretical physics, and actuarial sciences are other fields that may be considered as part of mathematical sciences.
This conference will provide researchers from different parts of India, working in various mathematical disciplines, a platform, to discuss latest developments and share their research results in contemporary areas of mathematics research and applications. This conference also intends to forge new cross-disciplinary interactions among participants and farther existing partnerships among the national mathematics community and engineers. The conference will provide a unique opportunity for in-depth technical discussions and exchange of ideas in mathematical sciences, as well as explore the potential of their applications in sciences, engineering and technology.

ABOUT POORNIMA UNIVERSITY
Department of Mathematics is equipped with a team of qualified, competent, experienced and motivated members of faculty who are specialist in their fields. The department has been engaged in both pure and applied mathematics. More than 55 papers have also been published in national and international journals. At present more than 5 scholars are working for their Ph. D degree. The thrust areas of research are Operations Research, Special Functions, Mathematical Modeling, Fluid Mechanics, Graph Theory, Numerical Analysis.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS
The Rajasthan Academy of Physical Sciences (RAOPS) was established in 2002 as a body to function mainly in the field of education. It is a registered body. It is a non profit scientific organization for promoting the cause of advanced study and research in the areas of Physical Sciences like Mathematics, Physics, Statistics etc.
RAOPS has been publishing a Quarterly International Research Journal, namely Journal of Rajasthan Academy of Physical Sciences, since March 2002. So far 37 Issues (4 Issues in a year) have been published.
The research papers in all fields of Physical Sciences are published after peer reviewing by expert referees. The publication of the journal is assisted,

in an honorary capacity, by an editorial board (nominated by the Executive of the Academy for two years) and by a good number of distinguished Scientists/ Professors/Researchers.
The Journal is indexed by Mathematical Reviews, U.S.A. and Zentablatt MATH. Germany.
SUBMISSION OF PAPERIntended participants are invited to submit abstracts not exceeding 250 words on A-4 size paper in double spacing by June 30, 2015. The authors of accepted abstracts shall be intimated of acceptance by July 5, 2015 and full length papers must be submit ted by July 10, 2015 at [email protected]. The papers must contain work that has not been published and is not being simultaneously submitted elsewhere and they should be written and as concise as is consistent with communication of understanding of the subject. All papers submitted to the conference will be reviewed by the experts in relevant areas. Certificates will be provided to all registered presenters and participants.
PROCEEDINGS OF THE CONFERENCEPapers passing the peer review process and presented at the conference will be sent to the Rajasthan Academy of Physical Sciences for publication as per condition laid down by the journal. Such papers will be published in the conference proceeding and therefore, need to be submitted the papers as per the instruction given on website www.raops.org and also have to deposit Rs 500/- per author in addition to registration fee.
