As the 2011-2012 school year draws to a close, I'd like to personally thank our staff, students,

parents and community members for their hard work and dedication. It takes a great many

people working together to ensure our children grow - physically, academically and emotionally

over the year. Thank you to all the parents and volunteers who assisted with our Renaissance

parties, assemblies, field trips and the like. It is only with the efforts of all that we are able to

offer the fun and challenging activities that took place over the year.

I'd like to offer special thanks to Mr. Cook, Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Irmen for their hard work and

dedication to Pioneer School. We will certainly miss them as they move into retirement. I'd also

like to thank Ms. Dueck who will be continuing her teaching at Lochearn School as well as Mrs.

Barr, Mr. Jones, Mrs. Chambers and Miss Oakley - all of whom have filled in on temporary

    contracts over the year.

On behalf of the staff of Pioneer School, I'd like to wish you all a very safe and relaxing

    summer.
