Hermana Gertrudis Muñoz Mendieta I.C.A.S.

Our New Building is Finally Open!

As you who shop our store know, we have long ago outgrown our building (thanks to your fabulous donations!). While we have managed to make due by taking our furniture out of the warehouse each day and selling it in our parking lot (weather permitting), it was truly time consuming and labor intensive. So it was a blessing to us when we were approached by the good people from Concho Resources with a donation of $100,000 that they asked be used for capital improvements. They did so in

honor of Helping Hands treasurer Gil Glinsmann, former Director of Marketing and Midstream for Concho. Gil was being honored for his involvement with the Alpha Crude Connector pipeline, where he was a key person involved with the conceptual design and development of the project and ultimately its sale, resulting in significant value to Concho. The new building will house furniture and other larger items, freeing up much needed space in the

main store. Congratulations Gil for your honor, and know that we are blessed to have you as part of our team. And to Concho...many blessings to all of you for your abundant generosity. We invite everyone to come check out our new addition!
