The Greater Camden Area meets every 3rd Sunday of the month at the OEO Building 538 Broadway, Subcommittees meet at 3 pm, Area meets at 4 pm. We’re making an insurance donation to the RSC. The Unity Subcommittees has been having events in the area and will be hosting a picnic during the month of June. Information will be placed on the Regional website. Subcommittees and home groups are in need of support.
CLEAN ACRES AREA SERVICE RPORTRCM Ryan W / RCM Alt vacant
Clean Acres Area Service meets every 3rd Sunday of the month, 7 pm, at the Messiah Lutheran Church, 46 W. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, PA. April’s donation - $4.87. May’s donation - $0. Unity subcommittee is planning the 25th Area Anniversary Picnic, July 27th from 1-6 pm at E Brandywine Park. H&I is planning a Learning Day. Meeting List changes submitted today. Several groups have moved. Come Grow With Us 729 E Lincoln Hwy, Coatesville, Miracle on Merchant, 423 E Lincoln Hwy, Coatesville, New Life Group, 729 E Lincoln Hwy, Coatesville, WAIT Group, 423 E Lincoln Hwy, Coatesville(no longer meeting on Sundays). State Of The RSOo I have attached the RSO/Office Managers report. Here are some highlights from the
report: Taxes
Taxes have been all paid for 2012. We now owe $1,850.00 for Q1 2013.
Lease Agreement 3 Year lease was approved. $875.00/mo. Optional fourth @ $901.00.
Insurance Renewal (Every June) Initial down payment is due ($2,700) approximate.
**** Donations Have Been Extremely Low This Year ***** Northwest Area Literature Sales as of June 1st 2013 - $2,182.84
*** Contracts ***o As a point of emphasis trusted servants, & GSR’s if any facility has any contractual
information that needs to be signed, discussed, etc., please forward this information to your RCM / RCM Alternate. Any matters regarding any legal or contractual issues, insurance information / insurance riders, etc. must be approved by our counsel prior to singing ANY document(s). This is to protect US as well as OUR facilities. In addition our legal counsel wrote a two page response to the Philadelphia Parks & Recreation contract/policies. I am attaching this document so we can share this with our area.
World / Regional Informationo The Philadelphia Region is hosting the “Autonomy Zonal Forum”, which we are a part
of. The following regions make up this forum: Central Atlantic Region, EPRNA, C& P, Freestate, & Mountaineer. The forum will be held at the following on July 27th 2013:

DELCO AREA REPORTRCM: Jim C Meeting Day: 3rd Wednesday / Monthly Location: Ridley Township 7:00 pm
DELCO has set a date for our convention, October 10th, 11th, & 12th, 2013 at the Clarion Hotel on Rt. 291 in Essington, PA. We will be holding events to support our convention including a “Rock for Recovery” on May 5, 2013 from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
DELCO ASC Policy Chair and Co-Chair have stepped down. We want to revise our own ASC Policy. We are asking the other 10 areas of this region to email us a current copy of their policy for review.
DELCO found a location to be considered for relocation of the RSO Office. The storefront rents for $675.00 / month. Contact information was forwarded to RSC Chair and RSC Co-Chair.
DELCO donated $1098.91 for February through April, 2013.
INNER CITY AREA REPORTRCM Alt: RICHARD C
ICA is requesting help form the RSC. ICA passed a motion from the Stick & Stay Group 2 months ago to stop hosting conventions until the impact on the GPRSC Convention is determined. The Ad Hoc Committee is formed and will meet June 15th, 2013, Pulaski Manheim 10am-1pm.
WEST-SOUTHWEST (WSW) AREA REPORTRCM: Sid B / RCM Alt: Bruce J
Meeting: 3rd Saturday / Monthly, 10 am- until? WSW is using a new ASC format that helps GSR’s, Executive Committee Chairs, Subcommittee Chairs and Reps get service work done more efficiently. The Consensus-based Decision-making (CBDM) workshop on February 16 had a good turnout. Thanks to all the members of our RSC and ASC’s who helped us. We’re hoping that more members show up for the next one!!! Saturday, April 20th, 2013, 10:00 am until 12:00 noon, Wayland Memorial Baptist Church, 52nd St and Baltimore Ave. WSW elected a new Convention Rep Kevin D. WSW donated $404.39 for Home Group Insurance and RSC donation. Problem: WSW needs a Public Relations Chair and Co-Chair.

The RSO currently does not have a lease. Rent is $975 per month currently, which lends to the urgency of this decision. The new terms for a lease are a 5- year lease with 3% increases beginning in year 4 from $875 up to $901. Or 3-yr lease with 3% increase starting in year 3. Terms include $875 year 1 & 2 up to $90 in the 3rd year. Chair recommends accepting the 3-year lease because the uncertainty of the future of the RSO.
Motion: Accept 3-year lease, Seconded, Disposition: 4 /0/0 MSP BOD gave vote of confidence to Mark B RSC Co-chair to enter new 3-year lease.
The board discussed the accountability for the available balance minus outstanding debts.

Admin - Convention questions were completed 5/4/13 (see attachment) Can we conduct business tomorrow if there are not 2 signers? Option -RCM’s would have to use cash. Peanut Butter & Jelly Summit brainstorming was tabled until Tuesday June 4th 6 pm at RSORD changed the location for the Autonomy Zonal Forum for an air conditioned space and ample parking. The rent for the location was $200. RD’s request another $100.00 for food and / or donations from Areas.Convention Treasurer is trying to get a signer added to Convention Committee account and obsolete signers removed. Situation agreed to be resolved by Convention Treasurer and RSC Co-Chair. Convention Co-Chair, Matt O. will be added as a signer.Convention Committee held Flapjack Breakfast at Applebee’s. Dances are still happening at 63rd & Cedar. Committee still doesn’t have a convention venue. Sheraton & Lowe’s proposals are on the table. Possible dates are Thursday, August 21st Through 24th, 2014. June 2013 Office Manager / ABC Report
The office has acquired two new customers located in New Jersey.The taxes for the last quarter of 2OL2 have been paid. We now owe the taxes for thefirst quarter of 20 13 totaling $ 1,850.00. We are in the process of ordering new meeting lists - we hope to have some in the office by the end of this month. The 2012 (Income) taxes for our region were completed 8
and the bill for the Accountant totals $SOO.OO. This amount has always been split between the RSO, RSC and Convention totaling $300.00 each. We would like to continue with this spiit and ask that the RSC and Convention give their pa5rments today so that we can meet our billdue date of June 9th. The 3 year lease agreement that the RSC Co-chair presented last month still needs to be addressed. I ask that a decision be made ASAP so that our monthly bill wiIl decrease.REMINDER - The insurance renewal is fast approaching and the down payment is approximately $2,650.00. Please spread the word to your AREAS so that we can get the insurance started. It will be in ALL of our best interest. Donations are very low for this year so far. Please help us to express the urgent need for support in order to continue our efforts to reach those addicts still suffering.Thanks as always to the many groups and Areas that support our region!!!Below is a snap shot for 2013 of the many customers that support us - thanks so much! We hope by working together that we can obtain more customers/support.

The Greater Philadelphia Region of NA Regional Delegate Report
June 2, 2013
Greetings RSC, We would like to thank you for allowing us to be of service in the Greater Philadelphia Region these past two years.
Next month we are hosting the Autonomy Zonal Forum. Our zone consists of the following regions Central Atlantic Region, EPRNA, C&P, Freestate, Mountaineer, and Greater Philadelphia. The Autonomy Zonal Forum is from 11:00am to 5:00pm. We changed the location of the event for better parking and accessibility. The new location is Oxford Circle Mennonite Church, 900 E. Howell Street, Philadelphia, PA 19149, Building B. We request another $100.00 to cover the additional expenses and we are open for donations.

Greater Philadelphia Region of Narcotics Anonymous Phoneline Chair Report June 2013The Halloo System received 395 calls this month and used 1264 minutes. Two voice messages where answered. There are currently 38 Phoneline volunteers in service on Halloo.The Regional Phoneline Subcommittee has elected the following:

Old Business
Convention Chair resubmitted 7questions to the Admin Committee at the December 2012 RSC meeting concerning Convention Committee Policy. They were addressed in May BOD Meeting.
Admin Committee agreed again to review and answer the questions at May 2013 Admin meeting with a response for the June RSC meeting.
WSW RCM stated the RCM Manual still needs updating.
WCNA Workgroup Chair brought to our attention several issues of concern that would have a need for us be involved with the WCNA35 Workgroup. They are in need of Volunteer’s:
1. NAWS would like to see our Region taking care of the Marathon Meetings. 2. Getting ideas for an event on Sunday after the WCNA35 Convention. 3. Remember that people will be coming into the city several days prior to WCNA35 and staying up
to several days after.4. Meeting Lists should be up to date.
New Business
RSC TREASURER REPORT – SEE ATTACHMENT
MOTIONS 1. MAKER – HERE AT LAST GROUPMOTION – Monies generated from the dale of Meeting Lists must be used to buy / print more meeting lists before any other disbursements can be made from their process.INTENT – Funds for reprint / repurchase should always be available.DISCUSSION – Monies earmarked for meting lists have been usd for insurance payments, monthly bills, etc.
2. MAKER – RSC H&I CHAIR – SCOTT DMOTION - To approve the purchase of $25.00 in literature for the Northwest Area H&I Sub-committee to facilitate the meeting at DRC, Roberts and Henry Ave.INTENT – To be full self-supporting.DISPOSITION- M/S/P 8/0/1
3. MAKER – DOWNTOWN AREA – DREW KMOTION - To create an Ad Hoc committee to examine feasibility of closing the RSO Office.INTENT – To provide information for making a decision.DISPOSITION- M/S/P 7/2/1

Open Forum Each Area has committed to host 3 Marathon Meeting slots for the WCNA35. RD received an additional $100.00 donation (food) from RCM’s for cost adjustment of Autonomy
Zonal Forum. Public Relations – Develop guidelines for subcommittee chairpersons thereby improve adherence to
the conscience of the subcommittee whom they serve. Subcommittees are required to create their own policies to be reviewed by the RSC Policy Chair for consistency.
Check signers for the RSC, Convention, and RSO bank accounts will be updated this week, thereby adding Debby F (RSC Co-Chair), Scott D (RSC Treasurer), Paula B (ABC Chair), and Matt O (RSC Convention Committee Co-chair).
