The Top Workplaces special sec t ion wil l be published in The Indianapolis Star and IndyStar.com on Sunday, June 11, when f inal company rankings wil l be released.

Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Indianapolis and Central Indiana based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfac t ion. The analysis included responses from more than 18,000 employees at Central Indiana’s public, pr ivate, and nonprofit organizations.

The rankings in the IndyStar Top Workplaces 2017 program are based on sur vey information col lec ted by Workplace D ynamics, an independent company special iz ing in employee engagement and retention.

The winners are divided into s ize categories. This year, 13 large companies (400+ employees), 27 mid-size f i rms (150-399), and 50 small (50-149) organizations made the

Johnathan Wilhelm, one of our plumbers, is proud to announce that he is a first time father! He and his girlfriend, Bryana Cundiff had a baby girl named Rebekah Shay Lynn Wilhelm on 5/10/17 at 11:41 P.M. She weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches in length. Dear Customers,

With June being the month we celebrate Father’s Day and our company’s 31st anniversary, Tyler and I decided to take over dad’s column this month.

We are both so grateful for the opportunity we have here at Peterman to carry on dad’s vision of the company, while at the same time hopefully creating our own. The one thing that continues to hold true is the wonderful customers that we have. We have all been blessed with so many people who are in need of our services and appreciate the value we hopefully bring to them and their homes.

Dad has always said that making sure the customer is not just satisfied, but a RAVING FAN of the

company and the work we do. Dad has always been

one to go the extra mile and make

sure people are taken care

of no matter what the issue. This is

something that will remain a constant far into the future.It is our promise to each of you that we will continue to push each day to provide a higher level of service in heating, cooling, plumbing and drains. K n ow t h e D i f f e r e n c eA tune-up- is done to prevent a breakdown with your HVAC system or your plumbing. For example, you get the oil changed in your car regularly, but nothing is wrong with your car. The oil is changed as maintenance, so that your car lasts longer. This is the same as a tune-up. A tune-up is often done even if your system is running okay. Tune-ups are usually scheduled further in advance. Tune-ups also help save on your energy bills.

A repair- is done when there is a problem suspected. We have technicians that specialize in repairs and others who focus on maintenance. Often times people get these confused. Now you know. :)

Good Deeds Being Recognized - The Peterman Difference!

Emily’s Blog – The New Mrs. Peterman (Chad ’s Wife)

I ’ve always had a special bond with my dad. Mainly

because I was his last shot at a boy and when that didn’t happen he raised me to love

sports! I also have my awesome father-in-law Pete, who loves to tease me, but treats me like his very own which I love so much. I also really admire the bond he shares with Chad and Tyler. My Brother-In-Laws are awesome dads as well, and in a growing family it can be difficult to coordinate celebrating SO MANY COOL DUDES in June. A few years ago my family had “Papa-Palooza!” Everyone went to my parents’ house and us girls coordinated food, game stations, and prizes that we knew the dads would love. Everyone had a blast and most importantly we

got to all be together. Happy Father’s Day to Mike, Pete, and all the fantastic dads out there, we love you.

Bill, one of our HVAC technicians posted on his Facebook recently this picture and an awesome story so we had to share!

“Not only did I service my customer ’s HVAC system, but this little lady said her handy man passed away this past February and she missed him (her hubby of 63 yrs.) She said that she

needed a magnolia bush planted, so I obliged while waiting on the A.C. to build up pressures. Good feeling!"

Ch o c o l a t y PB Mu f f i n sEmployee Submission: Ashley Miller

“So easy to make!”

Ingredients: • 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour• 2/3 cup sugar• 1/2 cup cocoa• 1 teaspoon baking soda• 1 teaspoon baking powder• 1/2 teaspoon salt• 1 cup milk• 1/3 cup plain yogurt• 1 large egg• 1/2 cup chocolate chips• Peanut Butter- 1/2 Tablespoon per muffin (12 table

spoons total)

Directions:1. Preheat your oven to 375º & line a muffin pan with

liners or spray with cooking spray2. In a large bowl mix together the dry ingredients

and then add the wet ingredients and mix together3. Fold in the chocolate chips4. Spoon batter into muffin pans about 2/3 full5. Take 1/2 tablespoon of peanut butter per muffin

and press into muffin batter6. Bake on 375º for 12-14 minutes or until a fork
