ACEC INDIANA SHORT LIST JUNE 2020 ISSUE 6 VOL. 16 Stay Connected acecindiana.org Each year, ACEC Indiana surveys member firms on salary information for engineering and other staff positions as well as benefit packages. 36 firms responded to the 2020 survey, which was an increase from 2019 participation. A few things that are new this year include a geographic breakout of Eastern (Fort Wayne), Northern (South Bend) and Southern (Evansville) when five or more firms reported a match with a surveyed job. Salaries for professional engineers also include a breakout by years in the profession. One of the business challenges faced was that information for this survey was being collected as the COVID-19 virus was rapidly spreading. Participating firms received the survey results for free, and non-participating member firms are able to purchase the findings for $500 and $1,000 for non-member firms. To purchase survey results, visit ACEC Indiana’s website at: acecindiana.org and check under the “Resources” tab. 2020 Annual Salary and Benefits Survey Results ACEC Indiana Scholarship Donation Fund In lieu of the Annual Scholarship Golf Outing, ACEC Indi- ana is accepting donations for the Scholarship Fund.
