HELP US RESTOCK OUR CHURCH’S FOOD PANTRY On Sunday, July 15th please help us restock our church’s food pantry. Many groups that usually take up food donations for our pantry are off during the summer months. Therefore, we are looking for your help to restock our pantry. Currently we still have plenty of canned green beans, sweet peas, beans, and corn. We need the following items: spaghetti sauce, spaghetti noodles, mac- aroni & cheese, canned meats (ham, chicken, tuna), soup, saltine crack- ers, oatmeal, cereal, juice, canned pastas (ravioli, spaghetti o’s, beefaro- ni, etc.), toilet paper, canned potatoes, canned fruit and individual pack- aged crackers or snacks. You may leave your donations in the containers located by the church of- fice, preschool office, and in the new south wing hallway entrance. Your do- nations will be greatly appreciated! We Need You! 1. Pray for this night. Pray that all the parts come together. Pray God is Glorified. 2. COME!! Bring your family, neighbors, small group, coworkers, etc. 3. COLUMBARIUM Did you know the word columbarium comes from the Latin word "Columba" meaning dove. It formerly referred to a dovecote and in Roman times came to mean compartments for keeping cinerary urns. If you are in-terested in or have questions about our Columbarium, please contact Fred Halfpap at the church office.

TRADITIONAL SERVICE ALTAR FLOWER CHART The 2018 Altar Flower Chart for the traditional service in the sanctuary is up on the hallway wall across from the elevator on the first floor. Please sign up for altar flowers especially during July and September.

GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP Understanding your Grief, “Ten Essential Touchstones for Finding Hope and Healing Your Heart” is going to be offered later this summer. The start date of this 6-week class will be determined by June 22. If you are interest-ed, please contact Melanie Watson at (423) 416-9010 for more information.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR PROJECT TRANSFORMATION Volunteers (ages 13 and older) needed to read with children at Project Transformation Monday, July 9th to Thursday, July 12th at Woodbury UMC. We also have opportunities for Sunday school classes to sponsor the Family Fun Night on Thursday July 19th at Woodbury UMC.

CRAFT MINISTRY The Craft Ministry is hosting a really fun meeting in room 113 on Tuesday, June 26th at 9:00 am for card making. Come and learn how fun and easy this is. Everyone is welcome! For more information, please contact Pat McIntosh. We are also knitting/crocheting scarves and hats during the summer months for Journey Home.
