Volunteers Needed To provide meals for our Young Adult meetings each week. A.C.T.S. meets in the gym on Thursdays at 6pm. Plan for about 20 young adults. A sign up sheet is in the Education building above the water fountain or call the church office. There are meal suggestions or you can fix one of your favorites. Please help support our Young Adults.

Volunteers mark your calendars for the

Great Day of Service Saturday, August 4. Our church will be conducting a community service project that day,

involving adults, our youth, and other Methodist churches in Hart County.

Mission Trip to TN  

Anyone  interested  in  participating  in  a  Disaster  Relief  Mission  Trip  to Apison, TN the weekend of June 16 to help finish rebuilding a home, please contact Charles Pace. 706.436.2630 or email [email protected]   

Mission Trip to St. Louis Volunteers will have an opportunity this summer to attend one of the St. Louis Dream Center's short term missions, which our own Sarah Foster is involved in. We have scheduled a five-day mission trip to the Dream Center for July 11—16, 2012. We hope to send a group of at least five adults or teens over age 16. Please contact Charles Pace as soon as possible.  

Mission Team Cookbook           The Mission Team is putting together a Cookbook. There are recipe sheets on the  tables  around  the  church.  Please  pick  up  several  and  submit  your  favorite dishes.  You  may  email  those  to  Tia  Athens  or  bring  them  by  the church office. There is an envelope on the bulletin board to put them in.  The  deadline was  June  1st  but  if  you  can  turn  them  in  by Wednesday—we will  take  them. Thanks  for helping us on  this project!! 

The biggest day of sports and music in Hart County is coming this June 9th! The ONE day camp is coming to Hart County Middle & High Schools featuring great training by incredible college and professional musicians, players and coaches, in lots of great activities like…

-Football -Music -Basketball -Soccer -Baseball -Softball -Cheerleading -Golf -Volleyball -Archery - Fishing BEST OF ALL it is absolutely FREE! Just fill out the registration form online or get one in the church office and mail it in as soon as possible!

Pre 4th Extravaganza on Saturday, June 30th

We will be serving water, handing out popcorn and just talking to folks between 9am-3pm. Our booth is easy to find, it is located outside of Stephen Carter’s Law Office. It is always great fun, a great chance to talk to those you haven’t seen lately and to meet new people!!! Please sign up by using the tear off and putting it in the offering plate or call the church office.
