Thank you to our past board members and committee chairs!

Welcome to our new board and committee chairs! Please note that many of our activities will

continue through the summer months; BUT, please check with the hostess or chair of the activity

before you decide to attend. Also, please remember that our General Meetings (luncheons) do not

occur during the summer, they will resume in September. As all of you already know, PNC is a

great organization and a great addition to our communities. That being said, we continue to thrive

because we are always adding new members. If you know someone who would like to meet new

people, establish new friendships, and have opportunities for fun activities, please bring them to

one of our events and encourage them to join us. Finally, if you have any ideas for places for

luncheons, programs, and/or new activities, please email them to me, and I will pass them along

to the board and/or committee chairs. The new board and I look forward to working with you in

the upcoming year.

2nd Vice President

I was born and raised in New Jersey. I lived there until going away to college in Pennsylvania

where I met my husband. We have 2 children and 3 grandchildren-all boys! My husband retired

10 years ago at a very early age after 30 years with law enforcement in Florida. I left the

teaching profession after 17 years where I taught 3rd grade. We moved to Tennessee. My

daughter and eldest grandson live in Tallahassee. In 2012 my son and his family moved to

Colorado and we followed in the summer of 2013, wanting to be near the grandkids while they

are still young.

I love hiking, walking, reading, traveling and I’ve just started learning to crochet and knit.

Recipe Tasting Lunch

Our cookbook sales are almost complete.

Thank you to all who bought them. To

celebrate we will have another recipe tasting

luncheon. Bring a prepared recipe from our

cookbook, or one of your favorite recipes. If

you didn’t submit a recipe, no problem, come

anyway and Please bring a donation of

canned goods or paper products for the

local food bank in Parker. There will be plenty

of food.
