Welcome to the last Junee North Newsletter for 2010. A huge well done and thank you to the students, staff and parents for a superb Presentation Night. The night highlighted the academic, sports and cultural achievements of the students at Junee North during 2010. Special congratulations to the School DUX James Seton, the MAC Award Hannah Turner and the Sportsperson of Year Serena Brookes. The 2011 School Captains were names and presented with their badges, School Captains Olivia Howell & Cameron Hart and Vice Captains Emily Pickersgill and Justin Jenkins. Also a huge congratulations to the 2010 Captains Serena Brookes, Kauri Deacon, Caitlin Crowley and James Seton for their efforts last night announcing. I would like to thank Junee High School for the use of their facilities on the night and Raymond Armour for his help with the microphones and music. The events list is getting smaller as the term draws to a close, the next big thing is the SRC Disco on Friday night. Friday 10th December- School Disco (JNPS Hall) Monday 13th December- Reports go home Monday 13th December- Year 6 Farewell Tuesday 14th December- Pool Party Wednesday 15th December- Last Day of school for students Thursday 16th & Friday 17th - Staff Development Days – planning for 2011 I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas and New Year and Look forward to seeing you back at Junee North in 2011.

2010 Medallion Assembly
NSW Teachers Federation Colouring Competition All students are invited to participate in a
colouring-in competition being conducted by the New South Wales Teachers Federation to promote
Public Education. Students can collect a copy of the competition
from the school office. Entries need to be returned to Mrs Bostock by
Friday, 10th December.

Australia Day Colouring Competition
Once again as part of the Junee Australia Day festivities, we are conducting a colouring competition for the children. Prizes will be
donated by the Arts Council and entries will be displayed at the Junee Recreation Centre.
There are 3 categories: 5-7 years; 8-10 years; and 11-13 years.
Please return to the school office for collection with your name, age and a contact phone number on the back to notify the winners.

Football Riverina / FNSW would like to invite you to attend our Football NSW School Holiday Clinic.
Our Clinics are the start of the FNSW Player Pathway Program and will provide all players boys and girls aged
6-12 years with the chance to be coached by qualified FNSW coaches, who are guiding in their style of
coaching and understanding of the needs of the modern player.
The emphasis will be on safety, fun and skill development, and will include small side football as the main tool
for learning.
