SAT and ACT Used to determine readiness for
college–level study. A good test score can help you enter your school of choice, obtain scholarships, and receive advanced placement or college credit.
Subject tests- only about 100 schools in the nation use SAT Subject Tests in their admissions decision
Some colleges do not require standardized tests for admission - test optional ( over 800 colleges to date)
ACT v. SAT The ACT measures what a
student learned in school. Tests on English, Math,
Reading, and Science with an optional Writing Test.
Score based out of 36. No penalty for guessing.

The new SAT measures what a student has learned in school.
Tests are evidence-based Reading and Writing as well as real world problem solving Math.
