scarves and more! Go home with 2 finished scarves and the

Quilting like a longarm—done in a day with your

The studio is open 8 am—6 pm to gather with your friends for a
few days of sewing. Bring your own projects (and snacks to
share) *FREE (no instructors on duty) Seating is limited.

Sewing/Quilting Workout
Sew “panels” of cardinals, pine cones, and ever-
green boughs from the Forever Green fabric line
into a lovely runner that will take you from

bobbins (also a few empty bobbins) thread
Sewing Tips for Knits
Before purchasing a knit fabric, grasp the fabric 6”
from the cut end of the bolt and stretch the knit to
check for good resilience. Make sure it returns to its
original shape instead of bulging. Use a stretch nee-
dle for fabrics that have 2-way stretch. Use a slight
zigzag for seams if you are not using a serger. The
slight zigzag has a little more give than the straight
stitch so your thread won’t break when the fabric is
stretched.
