For many groups, fundraising is a “season” of “selling stuff”

The intention is to: – Raise money for a particular event– Create a reserve of cash

The feelings attached to this season may be:– Frustration– Dread– Anxiety

What is social change? What is social change?

• A topic discussed in sociology the social sciences, but also politicial science, economics, and history.

• When behavior pattern changes in large numbers, and is visible and sustained, it results in a social change. Once there is a deviance from culturally-inherited values, rebellion against the established system may result, causing a change in the social order.

The overarching goal is to do something positive in intention with the faith that positive energy will be reciprocated and grow into bigger and better causes, impacting more people.

It’s the “pay-it-forward” effect.

The second intention is to raise funds to do more good.

The “Re-Label Me Project” is an example of fundraising for social change.

How this project works

The principle of labeling an object is demonstrated in the cellular evaluation of water, by Masaru Emoto.– The hidden messages of water
