Priest Gyoki's Temple
When Yoshiyuki Set tsu-no-mori Matsudaira, the second son of the second generation Owari Clan leader Mitsutomo Tokugawa, was assimilated by the Takasu Clan (Kaizu city), he revived the Kannon Buddha and rebuilt the temple as a Tokugawa family temple, naming it “Garyuzan Gyoki Temple.”

Known to be the shrine where the god of prosperity and safety dwells, and a large number of worshipers visit in the end of the month. The shrine is best known as “Ochobo-san.”

Kiso Sansen Park CenterA core facility of the Kiso Sansen Park, which is the largest national government operated park in Japan. Features include the Hall of Water & Horticulture and the Observation Tower. The Tulip Festival is held in spring, and the cosmoses are in full bloom in fall. During the wintertime, the entire park is beautifully illuminated.

Chisui Shrine (The shrine of flood control)
Yukie Hirata, the leader of the project, is the festival god of the shrine. The memorial services held on April 25th and October 25th attract many visitors especially from Kagoshima.
25Senbon Matsubara (The grove of one thousand pines)
The line of pine trees extends for about 1km, where the banks of Ibi and Nagara Rivers meet. It is said that the Satsuma Clan planted 1,000 young pines right after the completion of the flood control project.
