Economy
Dependant on oil 1970’s Nigeria neglected their agricultural 2002 gas exports supplied 98% of their earnings 83% of the federal government revenue. Produces an average of 1.6 million barrels a day.
Agriculture Less than 10% 2/3 of the employment Poultry, cocoa and fish are some the other exports
These would provide more then ten percent but the conditions of these farms and fisheries are too poor to produce enough to satisfy their need.

wealth, and lush vegetation.White represents the river Niger, peace and
unity.

The shield represents fertile soil.The sliver bands resents the rivers that run
through Nigeria.Two horses on each side represent dignity. The eagle represents strength.
