Nowadays
Kamanos reserve hydrographic network
Kamanos reserve is drained by 12 complex drainage systems.
There are 164 ditches in reserve territory, which length consists of about 74 km.
130 dams were built,
29 ditches were dammed in 1999-2000.
Reliable, long-term
dams in Paisle and
Augutis drainage
systems were started to
built in 2002.
PI “Nature heritage fund” administrated the project
“Conservation of inland wetland biodiversity in
Lithuania II” in 2004-2011
Paislė ditch was dammed in
2007. Three types of dams
were tried.

“Gedilieta” prepared Kamanos raised bog natural
hydrological conditions research report and
technical project in 2012
