1.0 Introduction

In this coursework, we are required to compile four articles from various sources. The

sources can be from online journals and magazines, printed journals and magazines or

other reliable sources. The themes for the selected texts are Health and ducation, The

Importance of !ifelong !earning, xercise is "un and xperience in !earning nglish. #fter

that, we are assigned to prepare a mind map to summarise each selected text.

$esides, based on two of the selected texts, we are required to prepare an oral

presentation for % to &' minutes. In other words, we need to present the two selected mind

maps and justif( the importance of the selected texts to the audience. #t the same time, we

are required to include the wa(s that we can use the information in the selected texts to

better ourselves and as a future teacher. )eanwhile, we have to write personal responses toboth of the selected texts. Then, we are required to highlight the importance of the texts to

us as an individual and as a future teacher.

Therefore, through this coursework, we will be able to listen criticall( and responding

appropriatel( to various stimuli. $esides, we can read for meaning and understanding of

variet( of texts and give personal response. #t the same time, we will be able to write well*

reasoned and coherent paragraphs in different t(pes of writing and academic papers. In

addition, we will learn to communicate fluentl(, correctl( and confidentl( in a variet( of

In the process of preparing and completing this coursework, I have learned a lot of

things. "irstl(, through the collection of journals and articles, I have learned to anal(se the

materials based on the requirements of the question. There are altogether 4 articles with

xperience in !earning nglish. #fter doing the mind maps to summarise each selected text,
