HIGH qUALITy mINERALSKaolin is a naturally occurring hydrated aluminum silicate crystalline mineral. It is characterized by itslamellar or platy particle shape, fine particle size and chemical inertness. The combination of platy shapeand fine particles size results in improved spacing of TiO2 particles in a paint film and improvedopacity.

Calcined Kaolin is an anhydrous aluminum silicate produced by heating ultrafine natural kaolin to hightemperatures in a kiln. The calcination process increases whiteness and hardness and alters the size andshape of the kaolin particles.
