Hello everyone! It has been a long wait it seems. Well,

here we are with the exciting stories and current on -

goings as our KKM Times has risen up from the fall.

67th Republic day with great zeal &

enthusiasm. Dr. Keyur Shah hoisted flag

& Shri R. K. Pandya opened the

“Winter Sports” of all institutes of

KKM. A lot more than 1000 students

from std 1 to PG has participated in

different athletics sports.

CADET NIYATI PANDA ATTENDS

ALL INDIA SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP

Niyati A. Panda, a Class 9 student of Smt.C.D.GandhiEng.Med.School man-aged by Kapadwanj Kelavani Mandal had been in NCC camps continuously since 12th June 2015. She is perhaps the first junior wing cadet from Kapadwanj to attend RDC.

Got selected in the Gujarat Contingent for the Inter Directorate Shooting Competition held at Asansol, West Bengal in August 2015. In the competition she got 5th position in the national ranking and qualified to compete in the Mavalankar Shooting competition which is the ultimate in shooting in India.

In the state competition organized by the Gujarat State Rifle Association she got the silver medal.

She got selected in the contingent of Gujarat Directorate of NCC in the All India Thal Sainik Camp held at Delhi in September 2015.

In the Inter Group Competition of Republic Day Camp she got the highest marks and became the Best Cadet of Gujarat in Junior Wing and got selected in the Republic Day Camp contingent of Gujarat.

In the RDC she had interaction with the Chief of Indian Army, Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Barkha Dutt of NDTV and had dinner with the Honorable Defence Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar.

For her performance in Thal Sainik Camp she was felicitated by The Vice Chancellor of S. P. University, Vallabh Vidyanagar in the Convocation on 14th December 2015.

She was felicitated by the Honorable Governor of Gujarat 4th February, 2016 as the best cadet.

It is a rare achievement for a cadet to attend 03 top level national camps in a single year.

School Health Program

Our School Health Program is running in full

swing. We have completed primary health

checkup of students of Shri SC Dani Primary

School and Smt. CD Gandhi English Medium

School. Doing that we have moved to Shri MD

KishorMandir.

So far 2000+ students are covered under this

program.

Red Cross Society, Kapadwanj supported our

Shri SC Dani Primary Health Center by donating

free medicine to us.

“We all go hand in hand”-Parent Teacher Relation

3rd Parent Teacher Association (PTA) meeting had been conducted in Smt. C D

Gandhi English Medium School (12th Dec, 2015) and Shri S C Dani Primary School

(24th Jan, 2016).

Thereafter Smt. C D Gandhi English Medium School conducted class wise general

parent teacher meeting.

Apart from that we have kicked off home visit of students. The objective of home

visit is to create awareness among parents. Now we are doing it for Shri S C Dani

Primary School experimentally. But we will cover all the schools in coming months.

Very recently we visited Chikhlod village for this purpose.

A new experiment we are doing in our Pre-Primary Schools. Here, thematic work-

shop for Parents and Teachers jointly will be conducted throughout the year. So

far we have started this chapter with a puppet workshop & an origami workshop.

4 students of Shah K S Arts & V M Parikh Commerce college are

awarded “LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2015” of Rs.10,000/- each.

An Engineering Student got benefitted by Mukhya Mantri Swalamban

Yojna of Rs. 55,000/-

Shri Mankelal Desai Kishor Mandir students were benefitted by Mukhya

Mantri Swalamban Yojna, 1212 students received a sum of Rs.1016350/-
