Selection Criteria
Talented girl students with superior academic trackrecord, with a family income of less than Rs. 60,000per annum in the rural area or Rs. 1,50,000 per annum in urban areas.
Only students from professional degrees inEngineering, Architecture, Law , Medicine,Business and Chartered Accountancy are being
considered at this stage.

Selection Process
Girl students are identified and interviewed byprogramme coordinators with the help of CollegePrincipals, and NGO partners. In some casesword of mouth references by friends, volunteers,
mentors & Katalysts are considered.
All the relevant certificates, marks cards,photographs, address proofs, income proofs(like salary slips of parents /earning familymembers) are collected for short listing.

Selection Process contd..
Once shortlisted, 360 degree due diligence surveyis carried out to confirm the actual need andmonetary status of the family.
Home visits is by an empanelled 3 rd partyprofessional agency. Reports are submitted to usalong with reference checks.
Confirmation to students of their selection asKatalysts.
Signing of MoU by Katalysts.

Funding Support for Program expenses: We arecontinually scaling up and as of now have 50students at our Bangalore Centre and 55 atMaharashtra. For the coming academic year we will
take the number to 75 in each centre. Katalystseeks to secure large donations from fundingagencies/corporate/individual donors, to ensuregrowth and long term sustainability.
