Maximum energy efficiency, inside and out.One aim of our new construction projects is the generation of our own electricity. Take the Ilsfeld store, for example: Here we have installed a photovoltaic system on the roof, covering an area of around 2000 m². The energy generated from this is equivalent to the annual electricity requirements of 48 detached homes. Furthermore, we offer our customers rapid charging stations for electric bikes and cars, which can be used during opening hours
at no cost. We have also invested in energy-saving LED lighting, and we provide efficient heating and cooling throughout our stores using the latest heat recovery refrigeration systems. These are all important additional steps along the path to achieving our goal of even lower CO2 emissions.
