techniqueFor the first book i drew on paper, then illustrated my design in illustrator. i printed this out and cut out my template. i then layed it all out and lathered tomato paste on top.carefully peeling back my template i was left with me my lettering for the 4 ingredients.
i then photographed it and took it to photoshop to add in some herbs and the rest of the text.

techniqueFor the second book i cut out a design with a stanley knife from double sided tape.i peeled off one side and stuck it on my mat.once i was ready i peeled off the other side and carely arrange the herbs and spices, ginger and paprika, onto where they should be. finally, by hand, i neatened up all the edges.
after i was happy i took a photograph and put in photoshop to add the remaining text.

techniqueFor the third book i carved the 4 ingredients out of a watermelon with a stanley knife.I first drew my design on it with a marker.then indented all of my lines making it easier to carve.finally i worked layer by layer to carve it.i also made the rest of the background and 'fast, fresh & healthy' text with bread crumbs.
When i was happy i photographed it, took it to photoshop and added in the final bits of text and the barcode.
