Patrick (Eddie) Kearney, 70, of Ottumwa, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002 at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center in

Ottumwa. A memorial mass will be 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 15, 2002 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Rev. John Spiegel

officiating. The body has been cremated.

He was born April 27, 1932 to Patrick E. and Rose Keagan Kearney in Lovilia. He married Jean Sigler April 18, 1956. A

resident of Ottumwa most of his life, he worked for 23 years for John Morrell & Co., ten years for Rockwell and ten

years for the University of Iowa. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Patrick

Catholic Church and volunteered as a V.A. van driver.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Steven Kearney of Ottumwa and Mark Kearney of Richardson, Tex.; two

grandsons; three sisters, Sister Marcia Kearney of Davenport, Marcella Kearney of Keokuk, and Donna Halbur of

Santa Rosa, Calif.; and three brothers, Cecil Kearney of Albia, Paul Kearney of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Dan Kearney

of Newton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers, Gerald, Vince, John, Bill, and three in infancy.

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church Elevator Fund

Patrick E. Kearney, 70, of 205 W. Williams, died 12:25 a.m. Nov. 12, 2002, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

He was born April 27, 1932 at Lovilia to Patrick E. and Rose Keagan Kearney. He married Jean Sigler April 18, 1956.
