Perry Hall News!

Friday 6th January 2017

Welcome to Perry Hall News, a weekly newsletter to celebrate our

achievements and keep you up to date with upcoming events.

We hope that you have had a wonderful Christmas and we would like to wish you all

a very Happy New Year!

2016 was a fantastic year for Perry Hall, as

not only did we have a very successful Ofsted inspection in March, but in September we were also awarded with National Support School status, which has come alongside the designation of Mrs Cheema as a National Leader of Education. This title recognises the hard work and commitment of our staff and leadership team in supporting children at Perry Hall, along with other children within the city of Wolverhampton and other local authorities within the West Midlands.

Celebrating the beginning of 2017

To kick start 2017, we start by celebrating our position in the local league tables, where all 101 Wolverhampton schools were ranked according to their end of Key Stage 2 SATs results for 2016. We are delighted that we have once again done extremely well beating last year’s position of 10th place by coming 7th place along with 3 other Wolverhampton schools. The primary school league tables have been published by the Department for Education both nationally and locally.

We have also been ranked within the 27th band/position of schools nationally for achieving 73% in the expected standard for reading writing and maths out of 15, 683 schools in the country. I am sure you are as proud as we are, and we would like to congratulate all the children and staff for their hard work and dedication.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our parents and carers for their continued support.

We look forward to another fruitful year!
