Assist with new ideas on how to improve the current marketing program through social media, and advertising campaigns. Intern – Ranch House Designs Summer 2015 Wrote, created, and designed weekly motivational graphics for the livestock industry with a weekly reach of 950 likes, 180 shares and 45,000 impressions on average. Helped grow the Facebook following by 4,500 subscribers in 2 months. Managed a team of 7 photographers to cover 8 events in 6 states in a one month period. Wrote guest blogs for their weekly blog. Communications and Marketing Specialist – Faxon Creek Cattle 2012 - Current Created the cattle operations website and Facebook page. Keep updates on sale cattle, show cattle, and daily updates. INTERNATIONAL EXPERIEMCE SDSU China Trip Summer 2015 Traveled for two weeks with a group of twenty students touring Chinese agriculture operations. I was able to get a view point of how agriculture functions across the world, and gain a larger respect for American agriculture. SKILLS • Excels in marketing and advertising through social media. • Strong written and verbal communication skills through my work as a blogger for Ranch House Designs. • Strong leadership skills through my work as a Minnesota Beef Ambassador. • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word programs, as well as Adobe InDesign. LEADERSHIP Executive Committee – SDSU Little International Fall 2015 – Current Serving on the Executive committee of South Dakota State University’s largest student run organization. This is organization allows college students to compete in livestock showing contests, and agriculture related contests. Along with hosting FFA chapters from across South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa to compete in FFA contests to prepare themselves for state contests. I myself am in charge of the advertising, marketing, photography, website, and agriculture sales areas of the event. Sigma Alpha Sorority Officer Team 2014 - Current Became a member of South Dakota State University’s leading professional agriculture sorority. Currently serving as the assistant treasurer for the year of 2015. Minnesota Beef Ambassador Team 2010 - 2013 Completed work to improve the general public’s knowledge of the beef industry. Spoke to groups of cattlemen about the importance of being advocates for agriculture, as well as consumers about the importance of consuming beef in a healthy diet. Spent many afternoons with elementary age students about farming practices and diet.
