What is happening at our School? Our play is coming along
nicely. There will be an evening/afternoon performance on Tuesday
8th December starting at 5:30pm followed by a BBQ ran by the
P&C. There will be a matinee performance on Thursday 10th
December at 1pm. Our Presentation Day will be held on the front
lawn of our school at 9:45am. Students are to be dressed in full
school uniform, including black shoes. Girls are to wear white
socks and boys are to wear grey socks. Our Presentation Day will be
followed by a morning tea in the cola. Parents are asked to donate
a plate to share. Transition return for their Kindergarten
Orientation Day on Thursday 10th December. This day begins at
8:30am because Santa will be here at 8:45am. Students can be picked
up from 2:45pm. Please bring in Secret Santa Presents as soon as
possible. The Senior classroom has been busy writing recounts from
Lake Ainsworth and learning about Bushrangers and Gold. The school
has been working hard on decorating the Library into a Christmas
Wonderland. The Junior classroom have been writing terrific Pirate
stories and flying through reading levels. Today the Year 5 leaders
presented their captain’s speeches. We are so proud to have 8
fantastic students becoming leaders next year. Well Done! As the
weather gets hotter please ensure children have sunscreen on, their
hats and a water bottle. Our new toilet blocks are OPEN. Please
come in and look at the great job the builders have done. Raffle
tickets have gone out today. Please sell as many as you can. Thank
you to those who have donated to this fundraiser. Raffle tickets
are due back and will be drawn on December 15th 2015.
