The KA series consists in five

2HU rackmount models, from

all equipped with Stereo-

Parallel-Bridge operation

mode, dB sensivity switch (26-

29-32dB), limiter, ground lift,

XRL/Jack inputs (plus extra

RCA input on KA 802),

Speakon/Binding posts out-

The KA 24030 is the perfect

power amp solution for 2

speaker systems and 1 or 2

subwoofers: 3-channels circui-

try, it features separate hi-

low pass active crossover,

sub-bass 50Hz EQ, limiter,

ground lift, XRL/Jack combo

inputs, Speakon Ch1, Ch2, Sub

Bass outputs.

Equipped with switching mode

power supplies, these bright

Active and Passive portable

speaker systems express ori-

ginal enclosure design and

engineering to offer an ama-

zing blend of user-friendly fea-

tures along with quality sound

reproduction. These eye-cat-

ching and affordable enclosu-

res with quality components

provide usage in a wide range

of applications. The Kempton

GT Series speakers feature

selected custom designed

woofers, and compression dri-

vers that are coupled to an

80°H x 50°V constant directi-

vity horn. The GT 12 A powe-

red version, with its Class AB

bi-amped power module offers

easy-access to the controls

and connectors.

Cabinet EnclosuresKempton’s GT Series injected moulded polypropyle-

ne enclosures feature an original proprietary cabi-

net design with smooth and flowing lines that imme-

diately identifies the GT series appearance from the

many Competitors models that look very much the

same. The GT Series enclosures rugged construc-

tion and exterior finish were designed to handle the

rigors of the road when used for portable sound

reinforcement applications.

ShapeThe Asymmetrical trapezoidal shape design provides

a 45° taper angle for stage monitoring applications

as well as for a general Front of House P.A. system

Pole Mount Sockets & HandlesFor speaker stand mounting all GTs are equipped

with a 35mm Ø (13/8”) aluminium pole mount socket.

The GT Series models feature ergonomically placed

carrying handles for a balanced “feel” when handling

/ transporting.

GrillesExtremely rugged 1.2mm (0.05”) steel grilles pro-

tect the woofer without detracting from its sonic

performance in any way.

Rigging/Fly points & Stacking capabilitiesAll GT enclosures are provided with multiple M10 fly

points to accept standard M 10 eye-bolts to facili-

tate safe and easy flying capabilities. The enclosures

are equipped with rubber feet and stacking posi-

tions that are moulded into the cabinet enclosures,

allowing stable stacking of 2 cabinet enclosures.

Power Amplifier (GT12A)The bi-amplification system of the GT12A consists

of two independent Class AB amplifiers, one for the

LF woofer and one for the HF compression dri-

ver/horn. Independent LF & HF Thermal and short-

circuit protection circuits are also featured. The

Crossover circuitry features an active electronic

24dB/oct Linkwitz-Riley design. The innovative 2-

channel on-board mixer (CH A and CH B) with each

one featuring: Preamp Gain, Volume, High Frequency

EQ, Low Frequency EQ controls, XLR/Jack combo

inputs. An XLR-M output jack provides mixed signal

output of input channels A and B.

Passive Version (GT12)The GT12 Passive speaker features professional

2 x 4-pin Speakon connectors mounted to a reces-

sed panel to prevent inadvertent operation.

ComponentsAll components were carefully selected and manu-

factured to Kempton’s specifications and tolerances

and then severely tested for reliability for the

Kempton GT Speaker series. The custom designed

Woofers feature high strength curvilinear cones on

steel chassis ferrite frames, high temperature resi-

stant voice coils to prevent burnout failures and fer-

rite magnet structures to produce solid low fre-

quency response. The HF compression drivers pro-

vide clean and clear high frequency output and are

coupled to an 80°H x 50°V custom designed con-

stant directivity horn for precise dispersion.

Crossover NetworksThe Heavy Duty Crossover Networks that divide the

signal going to the woofer and compression driver

are constructed with oversize coils, high voltage

capacitors and power resistors to provide the best

possible sound quality and minimize signal loss.

Independent LF and HF overload protection circuits

are employed to protect the woofers and HF drivers

from failures.

Kempton’s PW Series

speaker enclosures are

the perfect compliment for

high power live sound and per-

manent installation applica-

tions. Featuring quality

custom designed woofers, and

quality compression drivers

that are coupled to a constant

directivity 80°H x 50°V horn in

plywood enclosures. The acou-

stically contoured crossover

network provides full protec-

tion for both LF woofers and

HF drivers.

Cabinet Enclosures15mm, (5/8”) plywood is used in the construction of

cabinet enclosures on all models except for PW

218 which has 18mm (3/4”) cabinet enclosure. The

use of solid glue joints and the critical placement

of internal bracing results in enclosures that vir-

tually indestructible as well as resonance-free.

Shape: Maximum VersatilityThe Asymmetrical trapezoidal design shape with a

45° angle provides for Stage Monitor use and

Front of House applications (PW10-PW12-PW15).

FinishDurable textured black paint is used to withstand

to the rigors of the road when transporting and

provide a stylish appearance for permanent instal-

lations.
