Welcome to the Kenmore Air brand guidelines. This is a style guide to the basic elements that make up the Kenmore Airlines systems brand. These guidelines exsist to make us consistantly excellent.

Follow these guidelines as you make marketing materials, internal and external communications. Have a read, to help you get to know us a little better.

1.1 COMPANY HISTORY

COMPANY OVERVIEWKenmore Air has two primary business outlets: plane restoration and commercial

plane chartering. As world’s largest seaplane operator, they fly to over 45 locations in the Pacific Northwest, which includes a fleet of four landplanes and twenty seaplanes. They fly 125,000 people annually. Kenmore Air is world-renowned for its restoration and modification of small landplanes and seaplanes. Established in Kenmore in 1946, company headquarters remains in its original location.

THE KENMORE LEGACYFounded as Mines Collins Munro on March 21, 1946 by high school friends

Robert Munro, Reginald Collins, and Jack Mines, Kenmore Air is the world’s largest seaplane operator. Robert Munro served as sole owner shortly after its founding (Jack Mines was killed flying supplies to a search and rescue mission in the Cascade Mountains while Reginald Collins moved to California) until his death in 2000, after which his son Gregg Munro became president. Kenmore Air began successfully restoring planes after its foundation and by the end of the 1940s it became the Pacific Northwest Republic Seabee dealer. Following this the company became a global expert on Seabee repairs and restoration, going so far as to develop modifications to improve its performance. In addition to seabees, Kenmore Air is also world-renowned for its modifications on Havilland Beavers and Otters.

OUR MISSIONThe journey should be as fun as the experience. For modestly wealthy residents living in the Pacific Northwest, Kenmore Air is the local commercial plane char-terer that delivers a journey as fun as the destination because Kenmore Air is the largest seaplane operator in the world.

Out new brand identity is all about demonstrating how Kenmore Air always provides safe and reliable transportation along with the caring, friendly and professional service we’re known for.

The diagram on this page illustrated the graphic features that make the signature unique.

Position, size and color, as well as the spacial and proportion-al relationships of the signature elements, are predetermined and should not be altered.

The Kenmore Air signature is a graphic representation of our company and the values for which it stands. It identifies us by displaying an image that is strong and credible.

The signature combines two of the most important visual ele-ments of our brand—the Kenmore Air wordmark and symbol.

imagery adversely affects the legibility of the wording. Note that background coloror imagrey cannot appear through the Kenmore Air logo nor can the logo be altered in any way including, without limitation, to make it fit any theme, ambiance or external environment.

Consistant adherence to the color guidelines will help build visibility and recognision of your assosiation with the new Kenmore Air brand. The prefered use of the primary Kenmore Air logo, is the logo in Pine green placed on w white/ light color background. Use full color reverse logo when background color or

To ensure that our signature versions are clearly visible in all applica-tions, surround them with sufficient clear space—free of type, graphics, and other elements that ,ight cause visual clutter —to maximize the recognition and impact of out identity. Clear space is defined by the distance of “X” as a unit of measurement surrounding each side of the signature. The distance of “X” equals half the height of the capital letter

“K” from the Kenmore Air wordmark. A minimum clear space requirement has been established to ensure the prominance and clarity of the Kenmore air signature. It is essential that the signature clear space remain free of all graphics, identities, photography, and typography for maximum brands recognition.

SYMBOL MINIMUM SIZE LOGO MINIMUM SIZE

Minimum size refers to the smallest size at which the Kenmore Air logo may be reproduced and still maintain legibility.

To ensure it’s legibility, the minimum reproduction size of the Kenmore Airline logo is 1” in height for print and 72 pixels in height for web and electronic media. When reproduced or enlarged, the wordmark must

always scale propotionally with the symbol

In special occasion where available space is less than 1”, you can just use the Kenmore Air logotype and it could go to minimum size of 1” in width for print or 72 pixels for web use.

DON’T PUT DROP SHADOW ON OUR LOGO OR OTHER EFFECTS:

The example shown here illustrate the possible missuses of the Kenmore Air logo that should be avoided. Some, but noe all, common misuses are shown on this page.

To maintain the equity and value of our brand, the Kenmore Air signature must never be altered or redrawn. It is important to use the logo as described in these guidelines.

To acheive the greatest impact, you should always use the exact pantone color and the CMYK conversions.

Color provides a strong visual link to our brand across a wide range of applications. Kenmore Air serves as our corporate color for all brand commmunications.

A secondary color palette has been createf for use in presenta-tios and other corporporate materials where additional color is necessary to differentiate levels of information.
