Employment History2015 -16 [Dec-May] - Oxford Brookes University – Higher Education Administration Oracle 10g Framework; Online Enrolment, CMIS, Data Harvesting, Smartcard Printing, ServiceNow, ETL, SQL.As Digital Business Analyst I played a major role in three key projects of the university’s IS improvement program:

Redesign of the Students Online Enrolment system to be introduced for the new academic year where I was responsible for gathering and agreement of requirements with key stakeholders, modelling of current and future processes, TOM and GAP analysis, new screen design/wireframes and requirements traceability matrix.

New Smartcard Supplier Integration project –requirements specification. PUTS (Project to increase the utilisation of Teaching Space) projects where I was responsible for the analysis of the

collection, organisation, specification and sign-off of business and data requirements where I identified a solution to an issue that had prevented the university from getting full use of CMIS.

I also consulted on the testing of the UCAS data harvesting project, providing a greatly simplified solution for the identification of test data and results.

2015 [Jan-June] - KCS – Energy Management MS .Net framework 4.5; GEMS – Energy Management, Agile, JIRA, MS-Office, SQL Server 2008/2010.As Migration Test Lead, primarily responsible for developing and implementing a test strategy for migration from Gems to Gems2, within an Agile team structure, alongside the development of the new Energy Supply Management system, Gems2. In this role:

I developed the migration test plan, agreeing the plan with management, user representatives and the development team, before writing and executing the test set, identifying defects and the route cause plus retest of solutions provided.

Test tasks and issues were managed with JIRA and reported and discussed on a day-to-day basis in the daily scrum, participation in management of the requirements backlog and reporting progress to senior management with regular reports and presentations. Detailed tests were performed using sql enquiries.

2014 [June-Oct] - RSA - Household & Personal Lines Insurance & RI Multi-Platform; Flood Re, Professional Indemnity, MS-Office, Visio, UML.As BA to the Flood Re and PI Datawarehousing for enhancements of UW data analytics projects performed the Requirements Gathering and Business Process Analysis and Mapping, providing a documented set of requirements to the solutions designer. Activities performed in this role included:

Coordinating and hosting business requirements gathering workshops with SMEs, to determine the impact on business processes affecting:

o New Business, Pricing, Loss Ratio Analysis, Mid-Term Adjustments, Renewals and Cancellations,o Claims, Reinsurance, Recoveries and Finance,o Standard, Affinity, Delegated Authority and E-Business (incl. Aggregator),o Call-centre business, Finance, Communications and Documentation.

As Business Acceptance Analyst revisited business analysis for acceptance testing of customisations of Intelligent Office, a system developed externally to facilitate POS of Mortgage Sourcing, General Insurance, Delegated Authority, Protection and Wealth products. Activities performed, contributing towards the successful, on time, implementation of the project, included:

Requirements analysis for L&G Organisation, Agency and Branch setup, QA of customisation design and development requirement performed by external suppliers (SBS), QA of systems testing performed by external test agency, Analysis of end-to-end business processes (BPMs / KPIs) and organisation of associated tests including extract and data

load, onboarding of new customers into IO through subsequent interfaces with mortgage and insurance systems.Working closely with SMEs and key stakeholders on agreement of requirements, test scenarios and scripts, loaded and actioned through HP QC ALM, and presentation to stakeholders for acceptance and subsequent sign-off.

2012 [May – Dec] CV Starr - London Market Insurance Underwriting MS-SQL Server 2012, Visual Studio. .Net, Sharepoint; Eclipse, Framework, Agile, MS-Office, Sql, BPMN 2, Citrix, Zendesk.As Business Acceptance Analyst, led a team of 20 “Super users” in the UAT activities for the implementation of the Eclipse underwriting system. The project was implemented to the original schedule, using Agile methods and a matrix managed test environment. Activities within this role included:

Coordinating the review and subsequent changes to the Eclipse System for Starr’s Reinsurance requirements and performed detailed acceptance test of RI customisations on behalf of the business and subsequent presentation of results to Reinsurance and Finance SMEs,

Hands-on analysis and execution of system testing of change requests, following GAP analysis, with particular emphasis on reinsurance, coinsurance and multi-currency transactions and processes, of the Eclipse system to align with Starr’s business processes,

2011 - [June-Nov] Barclaycard - C redit Card Applications Multi-Platform. RSA/iMonitor, Equifax, Experian/Hunter II, Golf, CAS/CMH, AS2, Triumph, SQL, HP Quality Center v10.0.As BAT Analyst, working with Business Analysis Lead, on the design and testing of enhancements to credit card application, issuance and management systems to provide instant access to credit lines prior to receipt and activation of new credit card. Tasks performed included:

Analysis of credit decisioning processes, Proof of id. verification and sanctioned customer identification, KYC, AML and fraud detection processes. Product eligibility identification, application and on-boarding processes.

The role involved liaison with system SMEs to agree requirements and coverage, with external system suppliers to co-ordinate acceptance test coverage and data consistency throughout the E2E process and with off-shore SIT test team to organise UAT between on-shore and off-shore teams sharing a test environment.

2010 [June 2010–April 2011] - Nationwide BS - Data Warehouse/MI/GMP Multi-Platform- SOA; HP Quality Center 10.0, SQL Server 2008, BPMN, UML, QRM.As Business Analyst responsible for the analysis of Regional Brands data for the migration to the data-warehouse for the Agile, Group Margin Project to build a central income model for use in Margin's Forecasting, Reporting and Risk Analysis.Tasks performed included:

Analysis and validation of Source feeds into Central Accounting Warehouse and feed, via ETL process, into the QRM Framework,

Supported system and integration testing, OAT and UAT for acceptance of new releases of enhancements to the system and performed an active role in the QA of a regression test set for the ILP functionality and integration of Barclay’s Risk, KYC, Fraud Detection, AML and Sanctions Compliance processes.
