In a detailed interview, Architect Arun Kumar of SOBHA introduces Marina One and outlines the design philosophy that has gone behind the project.

What isMarina One?

Marina One is one of Kerala’s finest waterfront residential developments. With 1141 homes in 3BHK+study and 4BHK, ranging from 2296 SFT to 3710 SFT of super built up area, this project aims to define the concept of super luxury in India.

Who wouldlove to live here?

These are rare residences in a rare location, for the rare achiever. The combination of a fabulous location, a large waterfront, great design and sprawling green areas makes for a never-before-seen combination.

Top achievers across fields have evinced interest in this project; the community is likely to have a mix of businessmen, NRIs, top professionals, CXOs, venture capitalists, top sportsmen and artistes among others.

Where isit located?

This project is uniquely located at probably the best possible location one can get for a waterfront development in Kochi, at the corner of Marine Drive. You have water on two sides and panoramic views of the waterfront. The High Court Junction is just 1.5 kms away. The project location is secluded and yet highly accessible.

Some of Kochi’s best shopping, dining and entertainment destinations are close by. Also at a short distance away are prestigious educational institutions, super-speciality hospitals, malls, markets and places of worship.

A 497-METRE WATERFRONT IN THE HEART OF THE CITYMarina One is a rare project that provides an exclusive heart of the city location without compromising on privacy and tranquility. While you are metres away from the waterfront, you are also within a super-luxury community with fantastic views of the water. The C-shaped design maximises the effect of this waterfront. It also provides insulation from outside chaos and visual distractions. One can enjoy the view from the comfort of their own balcony or from any of the numerous seating areas within Marina One.

3 DESIGN OF THE HOMESEach residence offers a truly unique experience. The contemporary open design with strategically planned alignment brings the views right into each room, while meticulous planning maximises the carpet area.
