Kathryn Oppenheimer, PE – Senior Civil Engineer Ms. Oppenheimer is a senior civil engineer in ADTEK’s Frederick, MD office. She has over 10 years’ experience managing projects

including site remediation, hydrologic engineering, grading requirements, geotechnical engineering, solid waste management and general civil and environmental engineering design. Some of Ms. Oppenheimer’s recent project experience includes: Maintenance Facility – Capitol Heights, Maryland Ms. Oppenheimer provided civil engineering design services for the construction of a vehicle maintenance facility in Capitol Heights, Maryland on an existing vacant lot. The effort included site layout, stormwater management BMP design, site regrading, sediment basin design, and new utility design. Extensive work was done to ensure protection of non-tidal wetand located on the property and laying out site to avoid wetland and stream buffer areas. Elementary School Addition – Silver Spring, Maryland Ms. Oppenheimer provided civil engineering design services to Montgomery County Public Schools which proposed to build a 12,500-13,500-sf addition to the existing elementary school, located on a 10-acre site. This effort included the design of 10 stormwater management BMPs and associated storm drains, regrading of a portion of the site, and ensuring the protection of adjacent Forest Conservation area. New Fire Stations – Frederick, Maryland Ms. Oppenheimer provided civil engineering design services for two new fire stations in Frederick. The effort included site layout, site grading, stormwater management BMP design, and new utility connections. New Middle School – Prince George’s County, Maryland Ms. Oppenheimer provided civil engineering design service for a new middle school that will be built in Prince George’s County Maryland on land previous owned by MNCPPC. The effort included extensive coordination with MNCPPC, an involved floodplain study, protection of steep slopes outside of the project site, site layout, site regrading, stormwater management BMP design, and a three-staged erosion sediment control plan to ensure protection of adjacent forested areas. Silver Spring International Middle School – Silver Spring, Maryland Ms. Oppenheimer provided civil engineering design services to Montgomery County Public Schools which proposed to renovate and add on to the existing Middle School. This effort will all be performed in two phases while the school is occupied. One phase will demolish an existing out-building and pave the parking lot and the other will demolish a portion of the existing school and construct the new addition. Disturbed areas will exceed 5,000-sf and, therefore, sediment control and stormwater management design are required.
