Predictive asset

maintenance (PAM) –

understanding in real

time when a specific

asset will likely fail and

leveraging that

information (linked to

the supply chain) to

reduce unplanned

downtime and

minimize revenue loss

Next best action –

transforming the way

in which consumers

behave and interact

with a supplier, retailer

or service provider and

influence (in real time)

interaction with

specific products and

services, and

continually adjust for

recent/new behaviors

Intelligent order

processing –

evaluating an order at

the time of entry.

Analyze payment

terms, predict

profitability, detect

potential fraud and

make recommendation

to the processors as

they process the order

Predicting revenue

and controlling

marketing spend –

leveraging historical

information and current

customer sentiment to

predict product

success and control or

divert marketing spend Example: analyzing historical theatrical releases (based on metrics such as actor(s), release date, genre, rating, etc.) and incorporating social media/ sentiment analysis to better predict box office success (adjust marketing spend real time.)

EY warranty analytics – Provides for improved

forecasting of claims in future periods by make/model,

by geography, or for specific dealerships/repair locations.

It also allows for early identification of quality issues to

correct before customer delivery, minimizing recalls,

and it uses analytics to properly set warranty reserves.

EY asset utilization and optimization – Enhances the

ability for an oilfield services company to predict machine

failure before it actually happens, gain visibility of

procurement lead time for spare parts and understand/

anticipate manufacturing lead time for manufactured

spare parts. We are able to process data from various

sources (sensor, manufacturing, procurement,

scheduling, etc.) to predict machine failure and better

align resources to maximize asset utilization.

EY advanced analytics with SAP HANA Sector-relevant, advanced solutions to drive value through improved insight

These solutions leverage

large volumes of structured

and unstructured data and

are built on SAP HANA,

SAP Lumira, SAP Predictive

Analysis and Hadoop.

These are scalable

solutions that are open

for integration with other

non-SAP technological

platforms.
