Tacoma comes standard with a deck rail system that allows four adjustable tie-down cleats to be positioned for secure transportation. While showing a Tacoma to your customer, demonstrate how easy it is to slide the tie-down cleats down the rail to more snugly secure cargo. The deck rail system’s simple operation makes worrying about rope or strap length a thing of the past and makes your customer’s hauling easier.

Tacoma's available Entune® App Suite† features familiar Apps that allow occupants to order movie tickets, read peer reviews on restaurants and make reservations, find nearby points of interest, and listen to customized internet radio, to name a few. Drivers and passengers can also stay updated on stocks, sports, weather, traffic and fuel prices. Make sure to have the Entune® App Suite† on your smartphone and integrated with a properly-equipped Tacoma so you can show your customers how easy and practical the system can be.

Tacoma Access and Double Cab offer extra seating and storage with its second row of seating. The flip-up cushions hide under-seat storage compartments that are great for tools and gear you don’t want to leave in the open cabin. Before you start off on your drive, open the rear door and show the customer how easy and convenient the under-seat storage compartments are to access. Give them ideas of the items they can store in them, e.g., tools, gloves, safety equipment, rope, etc.

Tacoma's available SofTex®-trimmed seats combine refinement with practicality. SofTex® is a revolutionary material that is soft like leather, but weighs half as much. It’s also easier to clean and generates around 85% fewer volatile organic compounds than normal synthetic leather.

Standard on 4WD Tacomas with manual transmissions, the clutch start cancel switch allows drivers to start the vehicle without depressing the clutch. This operation helps in off-road situations where drivers want to avoid rolling back or when crawling over rocks. When the driver is starting Tacoma and needs guaranteed traction, the clutch start-cancel switch is the answer. Starting Tacoma in gear helps reduce sudden jerky movements as a result of engaging the clutch and helps maintain its footing while accelerating at a slower pace than when 4LO is engaged.

Standard on every Tacoma, the Automatic Limited-Slip Differential (Auto LSD) helps increase performance in many low-traction situations without the need for 4-wheel drive. Auto LSD uses the brakes to simulate the action of a mechanical limited-slip differential, applying individual brakes to wheels with no traction and feeding power to those with grip. Using the brake system also eliminates added differential maintenance costs.
