The Staff Parish Team is seeking applications for this part-time position. The job description is available both on our website (www.keystone-umc.org) and in the church office. You may send your resume by email to: [email protected] or drop it by the office.
Please submit by November 22.
All men attending our church are invited to our
monthly meeting on Monday, November 18 at
5:30 in the Fellowship Hall for a dinner, a program,
and loads of fellowship with our brothers in Christ.
For dinner, we will enjoy Fred’s famous ribs and all
the fixins. If you have never been to one of our
meetings, please join us. You will be received
warmly and your first meal is free!
On Wednesday, November 20 after Wonderful Wednesday Dinner
(around 6:30pm), there is a Called Church Conference led by our Dis-
trict Superintendent, Rev. Jay Therrell. The purpose of the Called
Church Conference is to vote on a proposed new leadership structure
for Keystone United Methodist Church. This new structure has been
discussed throughout the past year in our committees, Church Council
and at the most recent Town Hall Meeting. All church members are
encouraged to come, discuss and vote on this important decision. Pas-
tor Jeff is delighted to meet with anyone who has questions regarding
the proposed structural change. Please contact the church office to
schedule a time to meet.
Thank you to everyone who have already turned in their
2020 Commitment cards. Your commitment allows the
Finance Team to plan for ministry activities for the coming
year.
If you have yet to return your Commitment card and still
wish to do so, 2020 Commitment cards are still available
in each worship center and in the office.
Remember, your gift supports God’s church!
Youth Fall Retreat at Luther Springs is this weekend! We are leaving
the church on Friday, November 22nd at 4:00pm, returning at 8:30pm on
Sunday, November 24th. A “what to bring” list is on the Youth page on the
church website. If you have a friend who would like to attend, please sign
them up asap. Cost is $75.00 for the weekend. There will be no Sunday
School for students 6th-12th grade on Sunday the 24th.
Marian and Carol, our secretaries, are in need of
someone who would like to volunteer in the office
for a couple of hours on Wednesdays and Thurs-
days. You would need to enter attendance and
make rosters for classes and such on the computer.
The computer? YIKES! Don’t say you can’t, we will
train you! It’s easy. Just stop in one day, or give us a
call.
