In maths, we have been investigating lengths by comparing 3 or more lengths. They used unifix cubes to make various lengths to compare them by aligning ends, identifying and explaining using mathematical language. Ms Jeong KK have been practicing sprint run during sport. They had so much fun participating in relays to practice running, hopping and skipping. They are looking forward to showing off their skills at our Athletics Carnival next term! Ms Kassem KB absolutely loved our trip to the farm! The highlight was definitely each student having the chance to milk a cow. It was a great way to learn more about farm animals, so we can use this knowledge for our writing this term. Mrs Branco KG had an awesome time learning about beats, rhythm and tempo in Music. 5J have developed their own theory to determine ifgraphs are traversable. We tested our theory on theage-old 'Seven Bridges of Konigsberg' problem andfound that it was impossible to visit all the parts oftown by crossing each bridge only once. We foundout that the famous Leonhard Euler also came to thesame conclusion in 1736!
