PROGRAMS MA`YAR-E-SAGHEER TARBIYATI CAMP

By the grace of Allah, Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya Canada organized the Annual

Tarbiyati Camp for Ma`yar-e-Sagheer Atfal across Canada in the month of

January. The camp was a two day program which included overnight sleepover

with Namaz-e-Tahajjud and Dars-e-Hadith.

The theme of this year’s Tarbiyati Camps was “the Holy Qur’an”. Focus was

brought on the importance and etiquettes of the Holy Qur’an as well as the

inculcation of good moral and spiritual values as Ahmadi Muslims and mem-

bers of society.

Presentations were made on the importance etiquettes of the Holy Qur’an, the

Promised Messiah (as)’s love for the Holy Qur’an, and stories of youth who

made great accomplishments in the world. Other presentations and activities

included:

• A day in the life of an Ahmadi Tifl in which basic daily prayers were taught

to the Atfal along with ways a Tifl should organize his day.

• A video on the topic of scientific miracles of Qur’an

• Crossword puzzles and mazes relevant to the theme

• A quiz for the Atfal Ta`limi syllabus

Tarbiyati Camps were held in all Izl`a across Canada with a total attendance of

607. Attendance by Izl`a was as follows:

HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF

On January 12th a magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck Haiti casing a large number of casualties and heavy dam-

ages. By the grace of Allah, Khuddam from Montreal East, Montreal West and Ottawa Majalis performed ex-

traordinary Waqfe-`Aarzi in Haiti to help in the earthquake relief efforts.

FOOD COLLECTION

By the grace of Allah, a total of 640 lbs of food were collected in the GTA. All food donations went to Humanity

First Canada. Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya continues to help Humanity First with the weekly delivery of food to

the needy as part of the Humanity First Feed-a-Family program.

Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya has established four core areas of focus for the current year; 5 times daily

prayers, Namaz with translation, Q/A sessions and number of Bai`ts achieved.

Alhamdullilah, members of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Canada have responded with great zeal with the

aim of improving themselves spiritually. Below is the update of activities identified for the FOCUS belonging

to the respective departments.

TA`LIM

Focus: Namaz with translation

Majalis that excelled in the above mentioned focus area are Calgary North and Hamilton West with the top

Zil`a being Prairie.

The above achievements were based on the number of Khuddam who know and are learning Namaz, Namaz

translation, Qur’an Nazra and learning Qur’an translation as well as percentage of Khuddam reading books of

Jama`at.

Following were initiated to support Ta`lim department:

• Exams based on Lecture Ludhiana and Haqiqatul Wahi have been developed.

• Urdu audio of first 200 pages of Haqiqatul Wahi is being completed.

Best Majalis based on Number of Khuddam who know and are learning Namaz, Namaz translation, Qur’an

Nazra, Qur’an translation and Number of Khuddam reading books are:

• Calgary West (Calgary) • Hamilton North (Central West) • Lloydminster (Prairie) • Vaughan West (Central North)

TARBIYAT

Focus: Perform 5 daily Prayers

Majalis that excelled in the above mentioned focus area are Malton and Weston Islington with the top Zil`a

being Peel South.

DEPARTMENTAL UPDATES

TABLIGH

Focus: Q/A sessions held

By the grace of Allah a total of 93 Q/A sessions were conducted across Canada,

quadruple the numbers held in December. Majalis that excelled in the above men-

tioned focus area are Weston North West, Brampton Flowertown and Weston Is-

lington with the best Izl`a in this category being Central West and Peel South.

Focus: Bai`at Targets

The yearly Bai`at target is 63. Alhamdullilah, Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya has

achieved a total of 9 Bai`at with the Central West and Prairie Izl`a achieving 3

Bai`at each.

The department of Tabligh across Canada organized a total of 7 out-of-city exhibi-

tions.

Across Canada, 16 bookstall duties were carried out with Central North, Central

South, Central West and British Columbia Izl`a carrying out the most duties.

The best Zil`a in all major activities including Q/A Sessions, Bookstall and Remote

City exhibitions was Central West.
