Project Understanding I-89 corridor from New London to Lebanon/Hanover is heavily used

for commuting

Several inter-city and local providers offer transit service in the study area, but there is no commuter service from one end of the study area to the other

Many large institutions generate a large number of daily trips in the study area

There is increasing roadway congestion despite roadway improvements
