The first location is a dark isolated room the lighting creates a shadow over the antagonist face which is a convention of thriller films. This creates a fear of the unknown in the audience and also help the building of tension with in the atmosphere given off by the crying protagonist and the angered antagonist.

The second scene is a flashback another convention of thriller films this is seen by the filter on the photo age being black and white. This is the state of equilibrium and it being in a café a normal and relaxed setting reflects this. The location is outside which suggest the girl lives a normal and free lifestyle before hand.

The two locations show and foreshadow that something suspicious is about to happen the isolated and dim lit roads are the perfect location for some thing sinister to happen in a thriller film. The long ale way the protagonist is seen walking down suggest that there is no going back and she is near her fate as she walks closer into the camera frame. In the second frame the isolated roads is similar to an establishing shot in the sense that it tells the audience that one, the climax of the stalking is about to be reached and secondly, that no one is around to see nor help the victim.

This location here is a good a fitting setting for a thriller film the talk and leafy trees act as a blind spot for the antagonist and the positioning of the camera puts the audience in the shoes of the antagonist showing how her sees her walking calmly and unaware of his presence. The location also provided a range of camera positions in the first one we see the protagonist in a wide shot and in the second the protagonist is seen in a medium long shot. The mise en scen provides trees which make the scene for the audience more mysterious and spooky.

This is the scene in which the antagonist actually attacks and makes contact with the protagonist the location is fitting with the camera man/woman being able to use a crane shot to get a different perspective on the attack. The location is near by a bin site which adds a more filthy and creepy edge to scene. Again we can see the isolation of the scene which is fitting and furthers the atmosphere the audience can feel. The lack of lighting in this location limits what the audience can see but the suggestion is more important than the actual footage.

After making a straight cut to the first scene where the location is a dark low lit room we see the antagonist in a near by storage room where he tries to dispose of the body.

This location for the antagonist tiring to dispose of the body is successful in the lighting available as the location is still dark and isolated which gives the atmosphere needed in a thriller film, however the lighting here allows us to see exactly what the antagonist is doing.
