HWI has been offering its customers comprehensive pharmacovigilance (PV) services for more than 15 years: From the initial conception, implementation and further development of a customer’s own PV system, up to performing routine activities such as the processing and reporting of case reports or literature search activities. For numerous customers, HWI takes over the activities of responsible persons in the framework of PV (EU-QPPV, qualified person for pharmacovigilance, information officer) and supports them in system audits as well as in the preparation of authority inspections. HWI has many years of expertise in the commonly used case report databases and is already successfully using a self-developed software tool for signal documentation. Within the KIKS ecosystem, HWI develops digital vigilance services for drug products and medical devices using AI-supported data management technology. Through the automation of workflows, an increase in efficiency is achieved, which leads to significant cost savings for pharma and medtech companies and at the same time increases patient security.
