The photos included in this bullen tell the story. Students raised approximately $2300. The Student Representave Council (SRC) will now make recommendaons for how they would like to improve the school with the funds raised. KINDY ORIENTATION AND PARENT SURVEYS Thank you to all families who have completed their child’s enrolment forms for kindergarten in 2014. If you know of a neighbour or family member who has not done so as yet, could you please remind them. We will start allocang classes in the very near future. Parent surveys asking about informaon in regard to 2014 class placements were sent out two weeks ago. Could any outstanding surveys please be returned as soon as possible. Copies are kept in the office or are on-line if needed. EVALUATION OF 2013 PROGRAMS I have aached a survey in which I am seeking feedback in relaon to 2013 programs. Your responses will be collated and be used inform the school about future planning. The survey can be completed on-line through survey monkey. The web address is: hp://www.surveymonkey.com/s/9TJQJP9 SWIMMING SCHEME The Swimming Scheme commences this Monday and is held every day for two weeks. If your child has been chosen to parcipate in this program please ensure they bring their permission note and money by this Friday. Don’t forget to send clearly labelled swimmers and towel each day. Ray Claydon (Principal) BOOK FAIR Thankyou to all those parents and students who supported the Book Fair on Mini-Market Day. We sold books to the value of $1,654.50, and receive a commission of $330.90 to spend on our Library. Well done! Mrs D Armour (Librarian) BERINBA CHOIR The Berinba Choir has been asked to sing at the Christmas Carols at Victoria Park on Sunday 8 December at 5.30pm. This is a family event. Coffee and nibbles will be available. You can bring a blanket and picnic. At the end of the carols there will be small giſts for the children. Mrs S Dawes

FANTASTIC TEAMWORK AT THE MINI- MARKETS DAY Students and staff are to be commended for their organisation and teamwork at last weeks mini-markets day. PARENT OPINION NEEDED - HAVE YOUR SAY Dear Parents/Carers The school is evaluating programs which were implemented during 2013. I need your opinion to make decisions about how effective they were and to inform the school of next year’s directions. Section 1 is gathering information about learning support programs (parents would have been notified that their child was in the program) and grade specific programs. Section 2 is gathering information about mainstream and across-the-school programs. Please complete and return by 4 December 2013. The survey will also be on the school website.
