  • King Arthur East Pentire, Cornwall

  • A highly individual three bedroom ground floor apartment in a spectacular building with outstanding sea and coastal views.

    Guide Price £535,000

The generous entrance hall opens to a contemporary living room/kitchen equipped with hob, oven fridge and freezer. There is access to a BALCONY from the living room which, as with most of the accommodation, has breathtaking coastal views. There is a cloakroom/WC together with three bedrooms one with BALCONY access and a bathroom/WC with shower fitting. A gas fired combination boiler provides hot water and central heating and windows are mostly uPVC sealed units. There are two designated parking spaces, although in practice there is plenty of additional parking.

The Location This dramatic building shares the unspoiled East Pentire Headland (which has village green status) with only one other building: the Lewinnick Lodge, an excellent pub/restaurant, close enough to walk to yet far enough away that you wouldn't know it was there. The 'King Arthur' apartment is within walking distance of Newquay (along a coastal path) but remains entirely isolated from the town. One can either enjoy the buzz that Newquay has to offer or remain isolated enjoying the headland, the ocean and its wildlife. East Pentire Headland is positioned between two fabulous sandy beaches, Fistral and Crantock and the property even has its own sea pool, carved out of the rock at the base of the house. This property has everything in terms of drama, romance, location, sea and sand. Used as the backdrop in The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, this has to be one of the UK's most interesting coastal properties. Newquay sits at the heart of Cornwall, close to the A30, the main route though the County, which makes it a great base from which to explore the rest of Cornwall. Cornwall has awesome scenery and the best climate in Britain. Miles of sandy beaches, coastal walks, open moorland and a benign climate that sees spring arriving early, and autumn lingering longer. Winter has its own attraction and Lewinnick gives you a front row seat.
